After years of crying out by the community of Heidelberg, the intersection of Louw Street and the R23 is finally being converted into a three-way stop.
This specific intersection has claimed a number of lives previously and has seen its fair share of horrific accidents over the years. This step to make it a three-way stop is a commendable and most welcome turn of events.
Motorists are advised to still approach the intersection with caution as the final road markings and signs are being put in place. Also please share with as many people as possible so that they may be informed of the change.
