Frustrated and angered residents of Ratanda showed the level of their anger yesterday (April 4) following the murder of a three-year-old girl in Extention 6, allegedly by two foreign nationals who were in the country illegally (see earlier article).
According to Sergeant Moss Maluleke (Corporate Communications: Ratanda SAPS), shops and salons belonging to foreign nationals were attacked and vandalized by bitter community members.
The situation has been brought under control and public order police remain in the area to monitor the situation.
