SIX MORE CHARGES BROUGHT AGAINST PYNE IN CONNECTION WITH BRAKPAN MURDER

Dressed in all black, murder accused Jaen-Lee Pyne appeared in the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court earlier today (November 20) where another six charges, including one of murder, were brought against him.
This follows an incident in Brakpan on May 4 of this year where one person was killed and three others injured during a shooting.
Heidelberg Times was present in court and heard the state prosecutor charge Pyne, already the accused in two other murders, with one charge of murder, three charges of attempted murder, one charge of being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and one charge of the unlawful possession of ammunition.
An increased police presence, both inside and outside the court, was noticeable and the authorities are taking no chances in what is now a very high profile case.
The case was postponed until Monday, December 2 for a formal bail application.
Heidelberg Times will continue to keep readers up to date with this story.
